"TECHNICAL PAPER PRESENTATION"
Avsar presents an engaging paper presentation contest. This is an opportunity to reflect your research skills & temperament. The segment allows you to display your work to the group of scholars and to talk and receive feedback from interested audience. It affirms to discuss the emerging technologies and ideas in the field of your interest with a variety of probable perspectives and solutions by the panel of judges. Reveal your technical and presentation skills by seceding in at our distinguished platform by demonstrating them like paper.
Segements Structure :
- Students of 2nd, 3rd and Final year can participate in a group.
- Each group can have maximum two students.
- The topic of presentation should be related to the field of metallurgy or materials science which must fall into any of the three domains stated below. It should not include a general description of some field or topic but focussed and interesting. Original research will be highly appreciated.
- Prior to this event, the first round is the abstract submission round. Qualifying teams will move to the next round.
- The second round will be a presentation round held during Dhatvika’25 in which teams will have to deliver a presentation in front of panel of judges.
- Every selected Team will be given 6 minutes to present their papers in line with the theme of the event and three best papers will be awarded with Cash Prizes and Goodies

Segements Structure :
- Engineering students of the first year (all branches) can participate in a group.
- Each group can have maximum two students.
- Prior to this event, the first round is the abstract submission round. Qualifying teams will move to the next round.
- The second round will be a presentation round held during Dhatvika’25 in which teams will have to deliver a presentation in front of panel of judges.

PARIVARTAN
\"INDUSTRIAL PROBLEM SOLVING"

In day-to-day work, industries face some critical problems which need to be solved. Industrial problems from sponsoring companies will be given to the participants, the best-selected report for each problem will be awarded, and suggested to the companies. The goal of this event is to propose pioneering and viable solutions to encounter the obstacles which are thwarting the processes in the industries. As the name ‘PARIVARTAN’ suggests ‘change’ or ‘transformation’, your elucidation should be able to substitute prevailing technologies and initiate new ideas which are practically feasible and economically viable.
Segements Structure :-
- Three different problem statements will be uploaded for 1st -year, 2nd-year and 3rd-year students.
- Interested students are allowed to participate in teams. The allowable size of the team is up to 3 students of the same year of study.
- In the first round the participants will have to submit an abstract of their solution to the problem. 5 teams from each year will move to the next round. If selected your team may be asked to submit a scan-copy of your college-Id.
- In the second round, the qualifying teams will have to deliver a report of up to 8000 words during the 2-day fest, showcasing their solution to the problem followed by a 10 minute question and answer session. The final results will be declared by the end of the fest.

Guidelines:
The presentation of the report will be evaluated on the following parameters:
- Address to the problem(10 points).
- Solution to the problem(20 points).
- The Practical feasibility of the idea/solution (20 points).
- Economic aspects of the solution (20 points).
- If acquired, the time and the capital requirement for the first time implication of the solution in the industry (15 points).
- Literature Survey/Acknowledgement (15 points).

STHANANN
\"STHANANN (MOCK PLACEMENT DRIVE)"
In simple words, it can be termed as 'MOCK PLACEMENT'. This event helps the students to get familiar with the recruitment process of campus placements. This not only helps participants to have a rundown of the process but also helps them analyze where they stand and the areas of improvement. This is to prepare them for the real battle.
Segements Structure :
- Participation is open for the 2nd and 3rd year students.
- There will be 2 companies.
- Participants have to face 3 stages, First stage (ARUN) is online aptitude test in which participant have to give an aptitude test which contains questions from the quantative aptitude, Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Verbal.
- Second Stage (UDAY) will be group discussion would take place under the panel of judges in which students have to talk on recent topics.
- Selected Students have to provide us there CVs.
- Final stage (PRABHAT) will be Personal Interview round in which HR personals will take your PI.
- Top 2 participants from each company will be awarded with cash prizes and goodies.

METAL-O-GRAFIE

Metal-O-Grafie presents a microstructure examination contest. This event is designed to check the depth of your knowledge in metallography and metallurgical microscope.
Segements Structure :
- The event will be conducted in two rounds.
- Students will participate in a group of two members
- Round I will consist of a written test consisting of 20 multiple choice questions
- Top 10 teams will qualify for the Round II which will be conducted on the event day.
- Each team will be provided with specimens to examine from a metallurgical microscope within a given time frame.
- There will be a question answer round based on the specimen.
- The decision of the organisers will be final and binding on all the participants
